Coffee Lovers: Here’s five reasons to keep on drinking!
1. You don’t need coffee when you first wake up.
Well that’s good to know! But like it will stop us.
Although just an FYI- Your body naturally produces a hormone called cortisol that helps you feel alert and awake. That is released according to your circadian rhythm, dictated by the time of the day. So, if you have a habit of drinking coffee when you first wake up, you may want to wait a bit longer so that your caffeine isn’t wasted during a time when cortisol is at its highest.
2. Coffee isn’t actually that dehydrating.
Great news guys! Caffeine isn’t as dehydrating as we once thought! Unless you are consuming large amounts of coffee you won’t have too many problems- keep on with the H2O though!
3. Goats.
4. Gym Junkies- Drinking coffee can help you burn fat!
There have been studies to show that if you drink caffeine, it can increase your metabolism by up to ELEVEN PERCENT!
5. All of the coffee grown on the planet is from an area called “The Coffee Belt.”
The Coffee Belt contains all of the regions that have the conditions needed for coffee growing. Since the plants clearly require lots of sunshine and warmth, it’s pretty easy to say that this belt makes a good outline for the best tropical vacations, too!
So coffee fans- grab a cup and tell us why you love your coffee!
Definitely love coffee because it gets me through those moment in the day where you would otherwise get into trouble for falling asleep. I.e. work.

They sound like five good reasons to me! Love my morning coffee but will keep in mind to not have it too early from now on, so I can enjoy those cortisol bursts!! I’m all about tropical locations and dancing goats, maybe I should go on a coffee excursion. Gym junkie is my middle name. 😉 One coffee a day is my routine, on average, and its a favourite social outing with my pals 🙂 Love this blog! x

From the number of additionals (made that word up) that I put into my coffees – Hazelnut syrup, chai powder, chocolate, caramel, pumpkin spice, cream, sugar sugar & more sugar – I’ve come to the realisation that perhaps I don’t actually like coffee that much at all.. But sippin’ on lattes always makes me feel super cool & I like to use cafes as a funky spot to perch while I pretend to study/people watch.
PS cool article.
